What is your greatest asset as a business owner?

The ranking on Google reviews you have? The killer logo you created and branded your company with? The cash on your balance sheet or the latest tool you bought? No, the answer is your team.

You can have the best tools, the best marketing, the best of everything, but if you don't have a thriving and effective team, all that means nothing.

What have you done lately to invest in that asset?

Do you send your team to training, acknowledge them for a job well done, make a great and safe work environment for them?

There are so many things you can do to make sure your team is cared for and improving. It isn't always about the paycheck--although that is a large part of it--but it's equally about the culture. Are they working on a team that motivates them to put 110 percent into their work?

Take some time this month to think about how in 2023 you can put more into your team. It will pay greater dividends than any other asset you could invest in.
